I'm a instructional designer. My name is Porscha Alonzo and I am currently in my Masters program at the University of Tampa where I am pursuing a degree in Instructional Design and Technology. I am expected to graduate in December 2022.
I have been in the Learning and Development field for over 2 years now. I currently work as a Credentialed Trainer at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL where I train all new employees on the hospital's Electronic Medical Record program. As well as facilitating training, I also create training courses for the hospital's Revenue Cycle team. I have also just recently held an Instructional Design and Training internship with Bloomin Brands Inc. with their newest brand Aussie Grill by Outback. I specialize in content creation, eLearning tools, and corporate training.
I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) in Early Childhood Education and Human Development. I was President of my sorority in college as well as worked with local schools in the Tuscaloosa area as a mentor for the youth.
In my free time, I love to travel and explore new cities and cultures. When I'm not traveling, I love to go to live music events, theme parks, and cook for her family and friends.
I was born and raised in Orlando, FL but I currently live in Tampa, FL. Right now I am not currently searching for a new career opportunity but I am looking to expand her expertise in the learning and development field.
